Carpenter Assistant

About the role

The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Full Time, Mid Level Home Service Technician in the The Woodlands, Spring, Tomball, and Magnolia Texas Area. TruBlue Home Service Ally is a national franchise with over 120 locations providing trusted handyman repairs, home safety upgrades, and maintenance services to help seniors age in place and support busy families. This role involves performing general home repairs and maintenance tasks, supporting home safety and accessibility for seniors, delivering reliable and respectful service, applying skills in carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, basic plumbing and electrical, and representing TruBlue professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform general home repairs and maintenance tasks with care and professionalism.
• Support home safety and accessibility for seniors aging in place.
• Deliver reliable and respectful service to families and individuals.
• Apply skills in carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, basic plumbing and electrical.
• Represent TruBlue as a professional, punctual, empathetic, and trustworthy home service ally.

Requirements

• 5+ years of paid home repair or handyman experience.
• Committed to quality, safety, and doing the job right.
• Reliable, courteous, and respectful in every interaction.
• Comfortable working independently and within a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Skills in drywall texture, painting, and/or tile preferred.
