Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare the layout of projects, estimate dimensions, and select appropriate materials.
• Work with blueprints or instructions provided by the supervisor.
• Operate carpentry hand tools and equipment including wood, drywall, or sheet metal.
• Inspect work regularly to ensure compliance with codes and specifications.
• Work with prefabricated buildings, build stairs, fabricate rebar, forms, and set Simon forms.
• Utilize tools such as levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to maintain accuracy.
• Replace windows, doors, ceiling tiles, and perform other general trade installation tasks.
• Build building framing, install metal siding, and repair roofing.
• Adhere strictly to all workplace safety guidelines and regulations.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
• Operate required equipment safely and responsibly.
• Comply with company safety standards and meet or exceed these standards.
• Perform other job-related tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures.
• A positive attitude, self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and a willingness to work hard.
• An ability to lead by example and commit to teamwork.
• An attention to safety and adherence to instructions.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record if assigned to a company vehicle.
• The ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail.
• The ability to operate required equipment safely and responsibly.

Physical Requirements

• Requires walking, sitting, standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, grasping, crouching, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motions.
• Occasionally lift up to 75 pounds and exert a negligible amount of force frequently.
