As a Caretaker for Saturday Properties, you will play an important role within the maintenance team. Our Caretakers make a big impact with a friendly smile and genuine interest in the people who live in our apartment communities. You’ll create a positive and lasting influence on visitors, prospects, and residents, understanding the importance of first impressions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a pristine property:
  • Clean hallways, entryways, laundry rooms, and other common areas daily.
  • Assist with curb appeal by picking up trash in parking lots and lawns, salting entrances and sidewalks if needed, and sweeping sidewalks as necessary.
  • Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.
  • Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
  • Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies.
  • Stock cleaning cart with supplies.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Ensure trash and dumpster areas are clean (in coordination with maintenance).
  • Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
  • Report potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance-related issues promptly to supervisor.
• Deliver the Saturday Experience to current and future residents:
  • Clean vacant apartments per the Maintenance Supervisor’s directive, including tubs/showers, walls, sinks, doors, cabinets, appliances, ceilings, light fixtures, and windows, as well as vacuum and mop all floor areas.
  • Schedule additional cleaning based on resident events and reservation calendars.
  • Incorporate both safety and customer service in the performance of all job duties.
  • Attend weekly L10 meetings.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of cleaning experience.
• Ability to work alone and perform tasks without disrupting residents.
• Ability to follow and understand instructions and direction.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
