Caretaker

About the role

Hamilton INH Properties is seeking a full-time Caretaker for apartment buildings located in Mankato, MN. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to keep the grounds and buildings in good repair.

Responsibilities

• Handle minor maintenance items throughout the complex.
• Be available when on call for after-hour emergencies.
• Clean and maintain the common areas of the building.
• Keep the complex in the best state of repair and cleanliness at all times.
• Pick up paper, garbage, and debris from grounds and parking lots.
• Enforce the rules and regulations of the complex.
• Clean and touch-up paint units upon turnovers.
• Assist with the turnover of vacant units, including cleaning and preparing them for new residents (end of month/beginning of month).

Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma or relevant experience.
• Ability to take initiative and problem solve.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to use common sense judgment in day-to-day matters.
