Caregivers (Overnight)

About the role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable professionals to support the independence and safety of seniors, including those with Alzheimer's and Dementia. We value flexibility, adaptability, and high-quality care. Previous care-giving experience is a plus, but not required, we will train the right person. Position Overview

As a Home Health Aide / Caregiver, you will provide compassionate assistance with daily needs and personal care. Adhering to a customized care plan, you will ensure clients feel supported, safe, and comfortable in their homes at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be 18+ or older
• Must pass a state background check
• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with valid auto insurance
• Have at least 6+ months of previous work history
• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistance (ADL's): Assist with hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mouth and skin care, and toileting
• Mobility Support: Help clients transfer and move safely using wheelchairs, walkers, gait belts, or hoyer lift/sit-to-stand
• Meal Preparation: Plan and cook nutritious meals according to client preferences and needs
• Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take their medications safely and on schedule
• Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to support emotional well-being
• Specialized Monitoring: Provide specialized observation and care for clients living with Alzheimer's and Dementia
• Transportation & Errands: Drive clients to doctor appointments, grocery stores, or beauty salons using your vehicle or the client's vehicle
• Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean living space by vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, gathering trash, changing bed linens, and doing light laundry
