About the role

We don't hire caregivers to fill shifts. We hire Care Professionals who help create a better What's Next. At Home Instead of the Black Hills, we help aging adults remain safe, independent, and connected in the place they love most—home.

Responsibilities

• Help older adults live safely and comfortably at home by providing:
• Companionship and conversation
• Personal care assistance
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Meditation reminders
• Safety oversight and support

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle
• Valid driver's license
• Current auto insurance
• Smartphone with reliable service
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle records check, and drug screen
