Fedelta Home Care is hiring Caregivers, HCAs, and CNAs to provide 1:1 in-home care to clients in the Kelso/Longview area.
Pay
Base rate of $23.25 - $24.75 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Flexible! Currently hiring for Day and Swing shifts. Monday to Friday availability strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Meal preparation
- Stand-by assistance
- Medication reminders and assistance
- Companionship (playing games, going for walks, engaging in conversation, etc.)
- Light house chores
- Driving to appointments, running errands, etc.
- Showering, bathing, grooming assistance
- Other essential duties as assigned
Requirements
- Licensed and insured driver willing to transport clients (mileage reimbursed at $0.72 per mile for all work-related driving)
- Smartphone (iPhone, Android, Googlephone, etc.) for time and attendance software
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Must be able to reliably commute to client's location
- Strong time management, interpersonal skills, patience, and listening skills
- Knowledge of generally accepted care standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) via in-person, phone, email, and text
- Demonstrated experience and tact in communicating with diverse populations
- Ability to maintain professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations
- Reliable transportation to assigned client locations
- Six months of industry-related experience
- Current Washington State CNA, HCA, HHA, or NAR credential in good standing (or ability to obtain within state timelines)
- Valid Washington State driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of current auto insurance
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with or aptitude for healthcare programs such as WellSky Personal Care
Qualifications
- Active HCA or CNA license valid in the State of Washington (sets you apart)
- RN Delegation certification (strongly preferred, but not required)
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds when assisting with direct patient care
- Seldom required to lift and/or move more than 100 pounds assisted when providing direct patient care
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, lift, balance, use hands to finger, handle, grasp, or feel; talk and hear; bend and reach with hands and arms; and use repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Occasionally required to climb ladders or steps, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects including the human body
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Visual acuity necessary for preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer terminal, reading, operating office equipment, operating a motor vehicle, and determining accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work
Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to both inside and outside environmental conditions during home visits and travel between locations
- May occasionally be exposed to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists, or poor ventilation during in-home visits
- May be exposed to infectious diseases
- Noise level is typically low, similar to a traditional home or office environment
