About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Build meaningful, supportive relationships with clients through conversation, shared activities, and personal hobbies
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals, and assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe environment
- Observe, document, and report any changes in a client's physical condition, cognitive state, or behavior to the care team
- Maintain accurate daily care notes and collaborate effectively with family members and agency supervisors
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must successfully pass a state background check
- Prior care-giving or healthcare experience is preferred, but not required; comprehensive training is provided for the right candidates
- Must possess a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and active auto insurance
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to treat clients with the utmost dignity, patience, and respect
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Proven track record of punctuality, dependability, and ethical care standards
- Comfort working both independently in client homes and collaboratively with the administrative care team
