About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build meaningful, supportive relationships with clients through conversation, shared activities, and personal hobbies
• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals, and assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe environment
• Observe, document, and report any changes in a client's physical condition, cognitive state, or behavior to the care team
• Maintain accurate daily care notes and collaborate effectively with family members and agency supervisors

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must successfully pass a state background check
• Prior care-giving or healthcare experience is preferred, but not required; comprehensive training is provided for the right candidates
• Must possess a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and active auto insurance
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to treat clients with the utmost dignity, patience, and respect
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
• Proven track record of punctuality, dependability, and ethical care standards
• Comfort working both independently in client homes and collaboratively with the administrative care team
