Interviewing for caregivers

We are interviewing caregivers to work with a young adult in a wheelchair. We seek experienced caregivers with at least 1 year of experience, who can use a hoyer lift and provide personal care such as showering.

Shifts

Shifts are from 9am-9pm and 9pm-9am. The position starts in late August.

Many of our clients need assistance with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.

Qualifications

• Past experience as a caregiver
• Hoyer lift experience or willingness to learn
• A passion for the job and helping others
• Ability to pass a background check
• Excellent references from past employers and supervisors
• A hunger to learn how to best care for your client

Job Duties

• Assist client with daily living activities
• Using Hoyer lift to assist client
• Clients and caregivers are matched based on skill level, personality traits, and preferences to support long-term relationships
• Light housekeeping, running errands, meal preparation, and laundry as needed
