Job Requirements
- A passion for helping seniors
- A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
Job Responsibilities
- Providing assistance to residents with activities of daily living based on individual resident needs
- Interacting daily with residents in an effort to improve resident quality of life
- Assisting residents with dining
- May include but not limited to preparing/cleaning the dining room, assist with food selection, and serving beverages and food
- Promotes a pleasant and inviting dining environment and encourages social interaction among residents
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- PCA certificate or CNA license is required
- Must be 18 years old
- Able to understand and carry out directions and instructions and maintain simple records
