Responsibilities

• Manage patient intake and check-in processes, ensuring all forms and insurance verifications are accurate and documented.
• Support clinical teams by managing schedules, triaging patient concerns, and coordinating necessary services.
• Communicate with patients, families, referral partners, and vendors to support their full patient journey and engagement.
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulatory standards, and uphold high standards of customer service.
• Represent SOL Mental Health professionally and contribute positively to team culture.
• Meet productivity goals and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Clinical exposure or Medical Assistant experience, including reading medical records and supporting medication workflows.
• Able to effectively manage difficult situations and de-escalate issues.
• Highly organized and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn clinic operations technology systems.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems, particularly Athena, is preferred.
• Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
• Strong work ethic, enthusiastic personality, and high degree of integrity.

Skills

• MA Certification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Effective communication over the phone, computer, and face-to-face.
• Able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Pay

The estimated hourly compensation for this role is $24.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience. This role is also eligible for a monthly bonus based upon metrics set for the role.

Schedule

This is a Full-Time, in-person role based out of our Ballston or Tysons VA location.
