About the Role

As a Full Time Certified Caregiver at Via Elegante Assisted Living and Memory Care in Sierra Vista, Arizona, you will be on the front lines of compassionate care, enhancing the lives of seniors every day. In this vital role, you will provide dignified assistance with personal care, fostering independence while honoring the unique choices of each resident. You will work onsite in a culture that champions flexibility, integrity, and forward-thinking practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide dignified assistance with personal care, fostering independence while honoring the unique choices of each resident.
• Recognize and address residents' spiritual, social, recreational, emotional, and physical needs.
• Conduct routine health assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Assist with mobility and safety during transfers.
• Aid residents with personal hygiene tasks.
• Provide compassionate end-of-life care to ensure peace and dignity.
• Assist with meals, accommodate special dietary needs, and monitor hydration levels.

Requirements

• Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification (required).
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card (required).
• Valid Arizona Memory Care Certification (can be provided by Via Elegante).
• Valid in-person CPR and First Aid Certification through the Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Proof of a negative TB test (can be provided by Via Elegante).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving.

If you are a CNA or an LNA, you will still need to take a 16-hour Bridge course to obtain your Caregiver Certification prior to employment.
