About the role
Professional Case Management, a leader in home healthcare, is seeking Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to provide in-home healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Create your own flexible schedule

- Ensure client confidentiality and dignity
- Follow the plan of care prepared by the supervising Registered Nurse
- Encourage clients to be as independent as possible
- Perform non-skilled personal care tasks such as bathing, skin care, hair care, nail care, mouth care, shaving, dressing, feeding, ambulation, exercise, transfers, positioning, medication reminding, respiratory care, homemaking, and respite care
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, dishwashing, bed making, laundry, attending medical appointments, and shopping
- Follow emergency procedures in case of incidents
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience practicing nursing with respect for individual, cultural, and spiritual differences
- Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers
- Have emotional and cognitive maturity to maintain a good working relationship with clients, families, and agency personnel
- Be free from health problems that could be injurious to clients, yourself, and coworkers
- Pass a 2-step TB skin test and submit proof to Human Resources
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Have neat, clean personal appearance
- Have a valid driver’s license with insurance in good repair
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- License to drive and have a vehicle in good repair
Essential Functions
