Caregiver - Part Time - NOC

About the role

Care Providers at Capriana are integral members of the team, providing essential support to residents to enhance their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while respecting their dignity, safety, and privacy.
• Report any observed or suspected changes in residents' condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to promote teamwork and positive interactions.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and vaccination requirements as mandated by the employer.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Pass a background check and health screening.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

NOC Shift, Sundays and Mondays, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
