Caregiver Part-Time

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community‑based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The team is mission‑driven, focusing on helping participants live well and offering fulfilling careers.

Responsibilities

• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist with personal hygiene and provide care for individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Help participants engage in community activities and enjoy their favorite pursuits.
• Take initiative to promote community inclusion and independence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license held for at least one year (post‑permit) with a clean motor vehicle record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

South Amherst – Part‑time, 4.5 weekly hours; Sun 9 AM‑10 AM, Tue 6 AM‑9 AM, Sat 9 AM‑2 PM.
