Caregiver Part-Time

About the role

ResCare Community Living, part of the Sevita family, provides quality services that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently at home and in the community. As a caregiver, you will help people build skills, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential through person‑centered support.

Responsibilities

• Help people grow, learn, and live well through rewarding work.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Experience ownership and trust from leaders to do what’s right for participants.
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
