Caregiver - Part Time

About the role

Caregivers at Sage Mountain Senior Living assist residents with daily activities, support their well-being, engage them in meaningful moments, and collaborate with families and teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities such as dressing, bathing, meals, and personal care.
• Support residents with compassion, encouraging independence and maintaining their safety, dignity, and respect.
• Monitor residents' well-being and report any changes in condition.
• Engage with residents to create enjoyable and meaningful experiences throughout the day.
• Work closely with families and team members to provide personalized care.

Requirements

• A positive attitude and genuine interest in working with seniors.
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.
• A dependable team player who enjoys helping others.
• Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Current CPR certification.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and record-keeping.
