About the role
ExpertCare is looking for a Personal Care Assistant to work 1:1 with our Recipients in their homes. The role involves supporting, encouraging, and helping with skill building activities, as well as bringing Recipients into the community to support their personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Recipients in their daily activities
- Encouraging Recipients to pursue their personal goals
- Bringing Recipients into the community for social and educational activities
- Adhering to care plans and ensuring safety
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
- Reliable transportation to and from assignments
- Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
- Must be 18 years or older
