Griswold Home Care for Chevy Chase is looking to hire a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide elderly care and home companionship for our clients.

$21/hour

Schedule

Tuesdays through Fridays, 11am–7pm

Responsibilities

• Assist senior clients with daily living tasks within their homes, including laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
• Provide cheerful companionship and non-medical care while preserving clients’ dignity
• Help clients bathe and maintain personal hygiene in a professional and respectful manner
• Care for clients with dementia or cognitive impairments, demonstrating patience and kindness
• Submit accurate documentation at the end of each shift to update the office on any changes to clients’ care

Requirements

• Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant License
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 2+ years of home care experience (a plus; caring for a loved one counts)
• Compassionate attitude and ability to provide elderly care and companionship
• Positive attitude while assisting with household tasks
