Caregiver/Med Tech

Job Duties

• Read and implement care/activities of daily living (ADLs) according to the resident service plan.
• PASS MEDICATION according to physician orders if applying for the med tech position using the electronic health record.
• Respond to resident and other team member needs in a timely manner.
• Prioritize communication between other team members using group messaging and two-way radios.

• Demonstrates empathy and develops caring rapport with residents and other employees.
• Willing to support and lift other team members when they are struggling or learning a new process.
• Promotes resident independence and self-care.
• Completes incident reports sensitively, accurately, and timely.
• Understands safety and infection control processes and demonstrates practices to control the spread of communicable illnesses.
• Promotes a clean, orderly, and safe environment including performing housekeeping, when needed.
• Recognize, respond, and communicate with the maintenance team to keep the community, work environment, and resident apartment in a clean, comfortable, and safe condition.
• Accepts a code of conduct in how we behave with team members, visitors, vendors, and others in accordance with Company values.
