Caregiver - MC - Part Time EOW - 1st/2nd/3rd Shifts

In this role, you will provide assistance to residents in the Memory Care Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents.
• Assist, encourage, and provide restorative interventions for Memory Care residents to promote independence in activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Participate in and lead one-on-one and group activities.
• Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory care laundry, and perform basic housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood.
• Ensure timely response and follow-up to resident, family, and employee concerns to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co-workers.

Requirements

• Experience working with seniors with dementia, including participation in activities, is preferred.
• Proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisors and employees, and respond to emergency situations.
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Compassionate, kind, engaging, and helpful personality.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Problem-solving skills to address practical issues in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

Pay

Hourly pay rate: $19–$19.60.
