Caregiver Lead

About the role

Vista Del Monte is seeking a Full Time Lead Caregiver to join their team. The position works Thursday-Monday from 6am-2pm.

Responsibilities

• Receives reports from supervisor/Charge Nurse at each station as to any special needs of residents and report to Caregivers any special needs of their assigned residents.
• Ensures all special needs of the residents are met.
• Meds management.
• Aids residents with bathing, dressing and personal hygiene or other caregiving tasks as assigned.
• Makes last rounds with each Caregiver to ensure residents are left clean, dry, and comfortable, with call light and water within reach.
• Covers call lights and assists Caregivers as needed with resident care.
• Maintains log with all vital information.
• Observes and reports signs and symptoms of changes in condition.
• Reports to Supervisor regularly regarding the resident's condition.
• Maintains all documentation as required by Federal and State regulations and Company policy.
• Fulfills all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Wears safety equipment as required for the job.
• Reports any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisor.

Qualifications

• Current experience and/or training as a nurse’s aide.
• Experience in long-term care community health, geriatric and/or rehabilitative aide desirable.

Compensation

The actual compensation offered will depend on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, training, education, and licensure/certifications (as applicable).

The Lead Caregiver works Thursday-Monday from 6am-2pm.

Skills

Knowledge of long-term care community health, geriatric and/or rehabilitative aide practices is preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $23.30 - $25.00 per hour.
