About the role
Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide home assistance including light housekeeping, meal preparation, running errands, and transportation
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with medication reminders
- Aid with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and feeding
- Offer companionship through friendly conversation and emotional support
- Engage clients in stimulating activities to improve quality of life
Requirements
- Experience caring for seniors or disabled adults (professionally or personally)
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with mobility
- Standing, bending, kneeling, and moving throughout a shift
- High school diploma preferred
- Valid driver’s license and active car insurance (required)
- Comfortable using a smartphone for clocking in/out and documenting visits
- Dementia/Alzheimer’s experience and/or LNA/CNA certification are plus points
Qualifications
Compassionate, reliable, and professional individuals are preferred.
Skills
