About the Role

As a Care Professional, you will deliver essential personal care, support with daily activities, and companionship, ensuring clients maintain independence and comfort in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Assistance with errands and shopping
• Bathing & showering
• Dressing and grooming (shaving with an electric razor, skin care, oral care)
• Assistance with ambulation and transfers
• Assistance with toileting
• Encourage exercise, reminders for prescribed exercises
• Protective oversight for safety, stand-by assistance
• Dementia & Alzheimer's care
• Complete required documentation and communicate effectively with team members
• Follow all agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Previous care giving experience
• A passion for care giving and a wish to help others
• Attentiveness for being present and providing quality care
• Respect, patience, empathy, and kindness

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
