Responsibilities
- Meal preparation
- Housekeeping
- Companionship
- Personal hygiene care
- Transportation assistance
- Other light duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1 year of prior caregiver experience (orientation and training provided)
- Eighteen years of age or older with a valid driver’s license
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of working responsibly with confidential information
- Accountable, reliable, and ability to work independently with good judgement
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check
Physical Requirements
- Sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
- Talk and listen
- Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision
- Lift and/or move heavy objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Ability to type on a computer keyboard
- Tolerate moderate to loud noise levels
- Work in home-like or office settings with varying temperatures
