Caregiver/Home Health Aide

At Senior Helpers, our caregivers create daily moments of connection that help older adults stay safe, supported, and independent at home. As a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you’ll use your skills, empathy, and professionalism to deliver consistent, high-quality care that strengthens the lives of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate behaviors that promote dignity, independence, and trust.
• Build meaningful relationships by initiating friendly, engaging conversations and participating in clients' preferred activities.
• Support daily living tasks such as walking, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and personal care tasks.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and support safe eating routines.
• Promote safety and independence by observing clients' mobility, behavior, and physical or cognitive changes and reporting concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the electronic caregiver mobile app.
• Communicate clearly with families, supervisors, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by responding to schedule updates and care plan changes with professionalism and reliability.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
• Age 18 or older.
• Legal identification and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to use a smartphone for electronic scheduling, communication, and documentation.
