Caregiver / Home Health Aide

Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide
• Assist clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing
• Meal planning and preparation
• Perform household services including housekeeping and laundry
• Assist clients with medication reminders which are ordinarily self-administered
• Report changes in the client’s condition and needs to the administrator or care designer
• Complete records regarding services performed
• Drive to appointments or to run errands
• Accurately record all hours worked
• Remain alert throughout the shift in case client requires assistance; respond immediately to any such needs by providing the assistance required, or calling the Company for guidance
• Participate in all required entry-level and annual training requirements
• Maintain an active home care aide registration with the State of Ca. Dept. of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau
• Other duties as assigned by the administrator or designee

Requirements

• Active home care aide registration with the State of California Dept. of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau
• Ability to commute to Belmont, CA (required)
• Ability to relocate to Belmont or nearby areas before starting work (required)
• Available for Day Shift or Afternoon Shift

Pay & Schedule

• $23 – $25 per hour
• Part time or Full time
• Monday – Saturday afternoon
