Caregiver / Home Care Aide

About the role

Home Instead is seeking caregivers in Omaha who want to support seniors with their daily needs. There are immediate openings for caregivers who can work around other commitments.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with clients through companionship and caregiving
• Aid with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Provide personal care services such as grooming, bathing, restroom use, and managing incontinence

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (or equivalent credentials)
• Reliable transportation to and from clients (preferred but not required)
• Willing and able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s)
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities
• Complete any necessary compliance, license, or registration requirements
