About the role
As an in-home caregiver at All Ways Caring HomeCare, you will help individuals remain independent in their own homes safely, comfortably, and with dignity. Your work supports physical and mental health by allowing clients to stay in familiar surroundings and engage socially.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and special diets
- Perform general housekeeping activities
- Provide transportation assistance to and from activities
- Offer compassionate companionship
- Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Eighteen years of age or older
- Valid Driver’s License
- Six months of experience as a caregiver (professional or familial)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work responsibly with confidential information
- Accountable, reliable, and able to work independently with good judgement
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check
