Responsibilities

• Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM
• Assist with toileting, bathing, grooming, doing some laundry, cleaning messes, preparing meals and cleaning after school, assistance with meal preparation, and some transferring depending on frequent behavioral issues
• Requires constant supervision and care
• Client is mostly non‑verbal but communicates using words, sign language, pointing, and pictures
• Client rides the bus to school; caregiver must be at residence with valid ID to receive client from the bus
• Must have experience with autistic children who are not high functioning
• Willing to keep client active
• Good at communicating
• Must have a driver’s license and car

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED certificate
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience with autistic children who are not high functioning

Pay

$14.00 – $15.00 per hour
