Caregiver HHA/CNA - North Eastern Indianapolis

About the role

Senior Helpers is urgently hiring caregivers in the North Eastern Indianapolis, IN area. We are looking for individuals with experience working in assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, senior living facilities, nursing homes, home care, or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and professional care to seniors in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and medication management.
• Ensure seniors are comfortable and safe in their living environment.
• Communicate regularly with clients' families and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and follow established care guidelines.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in caregiving or related field preferred.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with seniors.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Good physical condition to perform necessary tasks.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
