Haven Home Care is hiring caregivers across 14 cities in Summit County. This is a calling for those who genuinely care about the elderly community.

What Your Day Looks Like

• You drive to someone’s home.
• You help with daily life activities such as baths, dressing, making meals, light cleaning, and running errands.
• You keep your clients company.
• Most clients are older adults needing assistance to stay independent.
• The work involves physical activity, including helping people move around and being on your feet most of the day.
• You do not give medicine or handle medical tasks, which are for nurses.

What You'll Earn

• $18/hour for STNA license (active or expired).
• $16-18/hour for HHA certificate or experience, based on interview.
• $16/hour for a free training pathway.
• $19-20/hour for caring for a private pay client.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Shorter shifts (2-3 hours) to 8 hours, depending on the client's needs.
• Varied schedules, with flexibility based on your preferences.
• Travel between clients is paid, except for the first and last client of each shift.

How We Verify Your Experience

• We verify your experience by contacting your former employer directly.
• If your former employer uses a third-party verification service, we cannot use this option.
• We verify before the phone interview to avoid wasting your time.

Four Ways to Get Started

• STNA (fastest): Apply with your license number, timeline 1-3 days.
• HHA certificate: Apply and send your certificate, timeline 5-8 days.
• Experience under a licensed nurse: Apply, timeline 5-8 days.
• Free training: Brand new, timeline 1-2 weeks.

Compensation

• Starting at $16/hour.
• Raises based on performance: 90-day review, 1-year review, 2-year review.
• Extra money for perfect attendance, referrals, and private pay clients.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Driver’s license and own car with insurance covering work driving.
• Available between 6AM-8PM.
• Legal right to work in the US.
• Pass background checks.
• Pass the competency test.
