Caregiver HCA / CNA - Part-time (Moses Lake)

About the role

Part-time caregiver position at Avamere at Moses Lake, located at 8425 Aspi Blvd. NE, Moses Lake, WA 98837. Weekend availability required. Wage $18‑$20 per hour DOE.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Mobility assistance: supporting residents with walking, transferring, using mobility aids
• Meal preparation: setting up meals, cutting food if needed, removing trays from rooms
• Providing emotional support and companionship: offering empathy, listening, encouragement; engaging in conversations, activities, social interactions
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment: housekeeping, laundry, cleaning, tidying
• Health monitoring and medical advocacy: observing residents for health changes, reporting concerns, monitoring vital signs
• Answering resident calls for assistance timely
• Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe work environment for residents, staff, and visitors
• Maintaining confidentiality of resident information
• Reporting safety concerns in resident apartments to supervisor
• Assisting with orientation of new residents and staff when assigned
• Performing other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor

Requirements

• Preference for experience as a caregiver in a Memory Care Unit and/or Assisted Living Facility
• Ability to obtain and maintain active CPR/First Aid Certification during employment
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation
• Must be 18 years or older

Pay

Wage: $18‑$20 per hour, DOE (depending on experience).

Schedule

Part‑time position with various shifts; weekend availability required.
