About the role

Responsibilities
- Aid residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as outlined in their service and care plan, including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence.
- Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining their self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
- Report any observed or suspected changes in residents' condition to a supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, adhering to established safety standards.
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with colleagues and other departments.
Qualifications
- Experience preferred but not required; training provided to the right candidate.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
- Written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
- Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB tests.

Requirements
- Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
- Must be able to work in a senior living environment and assist individuals with varying levels of mobility and ability.
- Must be able to follow safety protocols and guidelines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy.
Pay
$16.90 - $17.50 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule
5 days a week, 6:00am-2:00pm.
