About the role
As a Caregiver at Community First Solutions, you’ll provide direct, person-centered care to residents by assisting with daily activities that support their physical, emotional, and social well-being. From helping with personal care to offering companionship, you’ll play a vital role in fostering dignity, independence, and belonging.
Locations & Schedule
The Patterson
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Full-time roles require a minimum of 36 hours per week, every other weekend, and participation in a holiday rotation.

Responsibilities
- Assists residents in their activities of daily living tasks as needed and directed, including:
- Bathing, grooming, personal and dental hygiene
- Transportation to meals and activities
- Bowel and bladder functions (e.g., take to bathroom, portable commode, change incontinence products)
- Shaving, dressing, hair care, and laundry
- Provides resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting residents; answering call lights promptly; reporting observations to the nursing supervisor.
- Responds to residents’ needs while maintaining self-respect, personal dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
- Assists residents in and out of bed and wheelchair using safe lifting/transferring techniques.
- Assists Engagement staff in carrying out planned activities.
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records electronically.
- Uses universal precautions and follows policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids.
- Serves and protects the community by adhering to professional standards, policies, and state/local requirements.
- Updates job knowledge through education opportunities, professional publications, and maintaining certification/licensure.
- Maintains a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests by following safety standards.
- Adheres to all mandated reporting requirements and communicates concerns to the person in charge.
- Performs all other duties as assigned and/or appropriate to the position.
