Caregiver - Full Time

About the Role

This is a weekend-only direct care role, requiring work exclusively between Friday 3pm and Monday 7am, including every other weekend. The role involves providing safe, professional, and compassionate care to residents, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents per individualized plans, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Assist with personal care, medication administration, and safe transportation.
• Prepare meals, promote cleanliness, and encourage participation in activities.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free environment and follow safety protocols.
• Document resident conditions accurately via electronic charting.
• Follow policies on emergency procedures, resident rights, and challenging behaviors.
• Complete required training, including medication management and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, injuries, or health changes immediately.
• Work flexibly across different facilities and roles as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; free training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and use adaptive equipment.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and respect towards residents and staff.
• Basic computer skills for electronic documentation.
• Compliance with background checks, health screenings, and TB tests.

Schedule
