Caregiver/DSP Direct Support Professional)

We are seeking self-motivated individuals to be a part and grow with our team! We are looking for caring people to provide support for the residents of our adult residential care home.

About the role

Caregivers should be able to inspire both the residents and staff with their optimistic attitude, attention to detail, active listening and communication skills. Sensitivity and compassion towards people with developmental disabilities is essential. You will be trained on all processes, policies and procedures as well as help clients with personal care and all Activities of Daily Living.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for residents in an adult residential care home
• Assist clients with personal care and Activities of Daily Living
• Accurately and legibly write reports

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work hard and multi-task
• Ability to care for Level 6 ARF Facility clients
• Clean driving record or valid ID card
• No criminal history
• Must pass TB test, obtain First Aid/CPR certification, Live Scan, and Health Screening

Schedule

• Facility 1: NOC Shift - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10 PM to 6 AM (awake shift only); Saturday and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM
• Facility 2: NOC Shift - Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10 PM to 6 AM (awake shift only)

Pay

Starting pay is $21.00 hourly plus NOC shift differential. Pay for individuals with experience will be negotiated.
