Caregiver- Daytime Shifts

Description

Home Instead is seeking caring and compassionate Caregivers to join our team and support aging adults in Staten Island. We are looking for Caregivers available during the daytime, weekdays, and/or weekends. Shifts can range from 4-12 hours per day based on availability.

We provide a range of services to help seniors stay in their homes while maintaining dignity and compassion. Duties include companionship, safety supervision, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showering, grooming, toileting, incontinence issues, and Alzheimer's and dementia care.

Requirements to be a Care Professional

• Prior experience working with the elderly
• Treatment and care of clients and their property with dignity and respect
• Friendly and congenial communication with clients
