Caregiver - CNA or HHA
About the role
Senior Helpers of Boston and South Shore is a non-medical home care agency providing services to local seniors and veterans in need. We cover the area from Newton, MA to Kingston, MA and everywhere in between, which allows for plenty of work opportunity. Our office staff have all been caregivers for our agency so we understand what it's like to be in your shoes. We are currently seeking experienced caregivers to work with our growing list of clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and medication management
- Monitor client’s health and report any changes to the supervisor
- Ensure client safety and security
- Communicate with clients’ families and healthcare providers as needed
Requirements
- CNA or HHA certification
- TB screening (skin test, blood test, or chest x-ray)
- A valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance in your name
- Willingness to provide transportation for clients
- Willingness to drive up to 25 miles to cover a shift
- Fluency in English
- Pass a drug screening and criminal background check
- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred

Pay
- Monday to Friday, 5 hours or more = $20.00/hr
- Saturday and Sunday, 5 hours or more = $22.00/hr
- Everyday, 4.5 hours or less = $24.00/hr
