About the Role
The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with established procedures and may be directed by your supervisors. This role is intended for candidates interested in pursuing training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).
Location: The Lakes of Sylvania, 5351 Mitchaw Road, Sylvania, OH
Responsibilities
- Assists with housekeeping and laundry services including but not limited to trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
- Assists with all aspects of meal service including but not limited to transportation of residents to and from the dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring a great dining experience.
- Provides great customer service, companionship, and communication with our residents by answering call lights in a timely manner, checking in with residents frequently, and assisting with engagement in activities.
- Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
- Attends and participates in a training program leading to certification as a Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred.
