About the role
The role is responsible for managing a team of developers and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software developers in the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for projects.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in production environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering or related field.
- Experience leading a team of developers.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools.
- Experience with DevOps practices.
