Caregiver/CNA | In-Home Care | Evening Shift

About the role

Griswold Home Care is seeking experienced caregivers to provide compassionate in-home care during evening shifts (4:00 PM-10:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Aid with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
• Offer compassionate care for hospice clients while promoting comfort and dignity
• Support clients with dementia using patience, redirection, and person-centered care techniques
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition to the office
• Follow individualized care plans and document services accurately

Requirements

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare role
• Experience with personal care and incontinence care required
• Hospice and dementia care experience preferred
• Availability to work evening shifts (4:00 PM-10:00 PM)
• Reliable, dependable, and professional
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required for scheduling and communication
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Covid-19 vaccination preferred
• Caregiver must be at least 18 years of age
