Responsibilities
- Personal hygiene and grooming care to clients
- Assistance with toileting, ambulation, etc.
- Providing meals for clients' nutritional needs
- Reporting changes in clients' condition to relevant parties
- Performing routine housekeeping and home management duties
- Recording and submitting care plans in a timely manner
- Assisting with providing emotional support for clients and their families
- Aiding with routine therapy exercises
- Participating in case conferences as requested
- Attending all required in-service education sessions
- Using computer software programs and smartphones for required education
- Representing the company in a positive and professional manner through customer service
- Thinking critically without direct supervision and escalating when necessary
Requirements
- Driver's license and car with auto insurance
- One year of previous personal care experience at a facility or agency
- Two years of continuous work experience
- New Grad CNA's are welcome
- Comfortable driving within 30 minutes of where they live for cases
