Caregiver/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / NIGHTS | DAYS

About the role

The Lodge at Natchez Trace, a beautiful assisted living and memory care community just outside Nashville, is seeking compassionate CNAs and Caregivers to join our care team. Whether you’re looking for day shifts, night shifts, or PRN flexibility, we have opportunities for you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement through conversation and activities
• Assist with meals, hydration, and basic household tasks as needed
• Observe, monitor, and report changes in residents’ condition or behavior
• Document care accurately according to community standards and EMR requirements
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members
• Follow all safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures
• Support resident dignity, comfort, and independence
• Perform other duties as assigned to support resident well-being

Requirements

• Caregiver Requirements: Prior caregiving experience preferred (assisted living, memory care, home health, or similar)
• CNA Requirements: Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license in the state of Tennessee – REQUIRED for CNA applicants

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and resident-centered mindset
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively with seniors, including those living with dementia
• Ability to safely lift, assist, and support residents as needed
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
