Caregiver

About the role

Senior Helpers of North Seattle is building a strong team of caregivers to serve seniors in our community and enable them to remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their home.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with all Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, grooming) as assigned
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Performing household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up
• Supporting mobility and ensuring a safe home environment
• Accompanying clients to medical appointments, shopping, and other outings
• Observing and reporting changes in condition or behavior
• Communicating with the care team and documenting care tasks

Requirements

• Caring, dependable, patient, positive — you are passionate about helping others
• You enjoy customer service and have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player - willing to learn new skills to best assist your clients and to teach others
• HCA or CNA certification or equivalent
• Must pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance a plus!
