Caregiver

About the role

Senior Helpers of Spokane is seeking caregivers to provide personal care to help seniors remain safe and independent in their homes. The role requires a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys helping others and making a difference.

Responsibilities

• Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships
• Participate in clients' favorite hobbies
• Prep meals for clients to enjoy
• Aid clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living (ADL’s)
• Show toileting reminders
• Report what activities were completed with clients and provide updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

• Enjoy customer service and communicating with clients
• Interested in professional growth within a company

Requirements

• Ability to pass background checks
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Current car insurance
• HCA & CNA applicants encouraged

Pay

Pay range: $20-$24 depending on experience/certification/tenure
