About the role

Griswold Home Care in Salisbury, MD is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as a Caregiver. The position requires availability during the day and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate elderly care with a positive attitude
• Aid seniors on both day and night shifts
• Offer non-medical elderly care and home companionship
• Help with various activities like laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation
• Maintain proper personal hygiene for clients, prioritizing their dignity
• Offer gentle and professional assistance with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding
• Provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments
• Complete all necessary documentation for each shift worked and submit timely updates
• Routinely communicate with the office about client conditions and needs

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• CPR certified
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Kind and patient demeanor
• Two or more years of home care experience is a plus
