Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable caregiver for a close-knit family in the South Charlotte area (on the NC side of Lake Wylie). This role is 3 days a week for a total of 15 hours per day. For the right caregiver, the family is willing to create a mutually convenient schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks.
• Valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation is required.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
