About the role

Responsibilities

• Read and implement care/activities of daily living (ADLs) according to the resident service plan.
• Respond to resident needs, pendant calls, and community alarms in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate empathy and develop caring rapport with residents while promoting independence and self-care.
• Deliver care and services in accordance with individual service plans for all assigned residents.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of care delivered.
• Complete incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Understand and follow policies pertaining to safety and infection control to prevent the spread of communicable illnesses.
• Promote a clean, orderly, and safe environment; assist housekeeping and maintenance staff as needed.
• Recognize, respond to, and report concerns in the resident's environment to ensure safety and comfort.

Requirements

• Customer service-driven with excellent communication and people skills.
• CNA license preferred but not required for candidates over 18 years old.
• Committed to health and safety.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and compassionate with a positive attitude.
• CPR certified with a fingerprint card.
