Caregiver Responsibilities
- Aid with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Remind and encourage taking medications
- Absorb transportation needs to appointments or errands
- Deliver meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
- Assist with laundry
- Participate in facility activities during downtime
- Comfortable assisting with pet care
Caregiver Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum 1 year of real caregiving experience required
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor
- Likely to be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Comfortable performing physical tasks including standing, bending, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting
